WASHINGTON -- Many of D.C.’s taxi drivers are first- or second-generation immigrants. They were drawn to America by the promises of freedom and have strong opinions on how democracy is playing out in this election year.

Now, many of those same world travelers are disappointed by the Bush years, disillusioned with American politics and fed up with a flailing economy and what they think is an unjust war. But they are optimistic that positive change can be made by the Democratic presidential candidate.

Which candidate, though?

Fueled by countless hours of talk radio playing as they drive, and their own life experiences, these cabbies voice their opinions on the messages of change versus experience, Obama versus Hillary.
